Welcome!

If you like a quiet country setting where you can enjoy family recreation, then our campground is the place to be. We strive to be above the standards with flower and perennial gardens, garden art, and trails with a dog run all on 33 acres.

Take a canoe ride down the beautiful Ahnapee River. Do a little fishing, enjoy the wildlife, or relax by the heated pool (Pool open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend). The Ahnapee State Trail is great for walking, hiking, or biking.

Algoma City-Wide Garage Sale weekend in July

Enjoy our Christmas in July event, 4th weekend in July Decorate your site, Prizes awarded for best decorated site’s, live band on the Ahnapee Shores Stage  1:00pm-5:00pm Saturday ( time’s may change check with resort)  porkie and pancake breakfast served Saturday morning 8:00am-10:00am. Walk through the grounds to see all the decorations and to visit with other guests, a fun filled weekend. Don’t forget Shanty Days in Algoma in August with food, crafts, live entertainment and fun for all.

Wet Whistle Wine Fest in September

Ahnapee Shores Camping Resort Fall Fest event, 4th weekend in September. Decorate your site for Fall/Halloween, prize for best decorated site, with a runner up prize. Live band or DJ on the Ahnapee Shores Stage 1:00pm-5:00pm Saturday. Bring your costumes, Trick or Treat site to site 5:30pm-7:00pm.
